When I posted my last blog, I was very prepared for the concerns that were going to come out and as I expected…they did. Just so some of you may be able to rest easier, let me say this…I have been praying about “this” for 4 months now and I knew that God was and is calling me into that place to pray for and help those girls. I also know how very very realistic it is and how easily it would be to get “pulled” in.

God called me there to do just what I did that night and I know He is calling me to so much more. We went in a huge group, with guys, none of us were ever alone, we were in a constant group, and above everything else the Lord was with us. His protection was all over us. Before we we went into the battle ground we prayed ourselves up and knew that He was right there with us and after we left, we cleansed ourselves of anything and rebuked satan from any attempt that he tried to put on us. The places He wanted us to go in, He opened the door (literally) and the places He didn’t wants us in He shut (literally). Never once was I scared, worried, or fearful for myself or any of the people in the group.

One of the things that I have learned since I have been on this trip is that when the Lord truly calls you somewhere, to do something, you will know that you know that you know that He is calling you there and you will have such a peace about it…NO fear.

This morning my devotion was “Perfect Love Cast Out Fear”. I believe it was just for this reminder.

God is love… “There is no fear in love, prefect love cast out fear.” 1 John 4:18
