I think my team has been officially labeled “the parties”. Most of the time when you get this label it is not one that you are proud of…but we are very proud to carry this title. We have been here for5 days and 3 out of the 4 we have either thrown a party or been to a party. This has become our ministry here and we LOVE it. I don’t think one of us have a complaint about that.
So…the girls that Friske and Laura met randomly on the street a couple of days ago well we have hung out with them and party hardy with them everyday.
The Lord is so good and so faithful and He has definitely proven this to us since we have been here. The fact that the first 2 days we were here we stayed diligently in prayer for divine appointments and He faithfully gave this to us in the form of about 10 15-17 yr old girls. We have had so much fun with them. We have sat and laughed and laughed. They laugh at us because we do not know what they are saying, they laugh because we do not use our chopsticks correctly (and in return give us spoons), they laugh when they ask us to dance and we actually do. The language barrier has not become an issue one time. We pull out our phrase books and the 2 cute little girls that know some English and we are able to communicate just fine. (It make take a couple of minutes, but in the end it all works out.)

So…yesterday after we threw our party Saturday night they threw us a party. WOW…they threw a party. They had popcorn, fruit, coke, karaoke, music, and they even made us dinner. It was so much fun and so amazing to see how these precious girls served us. The way they welcomed us into their home and did everything they could to make sure we were okay…when we ran out of popcorn they even went and bought more.
Today…it was our turn to throw them a party, but I have to admit ours was not nearly has elaborate as theirs was. We invited them over, hung out for a while and then we all went downstairs to have dinner. They loved this because they got to eat at a “nice” restaurant. They even got up and sang karaoke…again…it was priceless.

When it was all over, they even took a vote to see if they wanted to skip doing their homework and continue to party or go to school and do homework. As much as we wanted them to stay we told them to go to school, so we said our said goodbyes.

We leave in the morning to go back to meet up with the other teams, so we can all leave from there Thursday morning and take a 30hr bus ride to Jade Tree.
Please be in prayer for us during our travels and that the Lord will flourish what we have planted here with these girls and with the power of prayer. In the name of Jesus…these walls and strongholds are broken and revival is coming!!! Amen.
