You Said
You said “Ask and you will receive”
Whatever you need
You Said “Pray and I’ll hear from heaven and I’ll heal your land”
You said, Your glory will fill the earth like water to seas
You said “Lift up your eyes the harvest is here the kingdom is near”
You said ask and I’ll give the nations to you
Oh Lord, that’s the cry of my heart
Distant shores and the islands will see your light
as it rises on us
You said “Ask and you will receive”
Whatever you need
You Said “Pray and I’ll hear from heaven and I’ll heal your land”
You said, Your glory will fill the earth
like water to seas
You said “Life your eyes the harvest is here the kingdom is near”
You said ask and I’ll give the nations to you
Oh Lord, that’s the cry of my heart
Distant shores and the islands will see your light
as it rises on us
Ask and I’ll give the nations to you
Oh Lord, that’s the cry of my heart
Distant shores and the islands will see your light
as it rises on earth
Last night was an amazing time for me. Since being on the World Race, it is hard at times to have “church
” and truly feel like you are worshipping the Lord and that He is speaking to you. Since being back in South Africa I have been blessed with the opportunity to be able to go to church and get refreshed and renewed.
I was not going to go last night because I had a full day of ministry and was very tired. I decided to push through and make myself go and in return, the Lord blessed me.
As I was worshiping we started singing
this song “You Said”. I have heard this song many times and sang it many times, but last night it was more real to me than it has ever been.
The Lord took me back to a place where I was sitting in the hotel room in China crying out to Him asking Him to give me the nations, to give me His heart, His eyes for His people. And He spoke to me and said… What has happened to your heart, to your desire, to your brokenness for my people?
I have put a calling in you to go into the nations. I have called you to the World Race just for that. If you will continue to abide in me, worship me, thank me for things that you have yet to see, and seek me face… I will give you the very desire of your heart.
All I could do is stand there and weep, thanking Him for reminding me of what He has called me to. I never have forgotten what my calling is, but sometime we just need that touch from our Daddy that reminds us of the things that we tends to put in the back of our head.
Being back in South Africa has been such a blessing and I have been refreshed and renewed in many ways. The Lord has blessed me so much with restored strength to go back out and have a fresh fire to do what He has called me to do. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
