Where am I from??
I have lived in Michigan my whole life. My mom is from Jamaica and my dad is from New Jersey. I love both of those places mainly because they are home to some of the best food ever created! I just finished my B.S. degree in Health Studies at Michigan State University. Since middle school I have wanted to become a doctor and work in the missions field. In college I did the pre-med thing and I still plan on pursuing that after the World Race, God willing.
When did I become a Christian??
Well I did not grow up in a Christian house hold. I actually heard who Jesus was at a Christian camp called Spring Hill in Michigan. In middle school I got sponsored to go to this camp because of my families financial situation. My dad (main source of income) was in prison those two years. At the camp my counselor told all of us who Jesus Christ was and His purpose for our lives and I accepted Him with tears. Tears of joy for the simple fact that I had a purpose and tears of sorrow that someone would die for me to allow me to have a relationship with the God of the universe! After that I began going to church with my best friends family and together we all learned how to live a life with God!!
