I’d like to introduce my team, Dependent By Faith. Coming from all different parts of the States, and with wonderfully unique and special walks, the seven of us will serve our contacts together, build each other up, and sharpen each other, “like iron sharpens iron.” (Proverbs 27:7)
I am very excited to grow with my team, get to know them better, and simply, do life with them.
Dependent By Faith ( From L-R Cortney, Paul, Caroline, David, Kyle, Kehinde, and me!)

Recently, someone asked the following questions, “Who is your team leader? What strength does each person on your team bring including yourself?”
My reply to her question was the following:
“Regarding our Team Leader, his name is David. I didn’t get to know him much during Training Camp, but I can see that he is really passionate about making everyone feel respected, included and appreciated. When the team went out for dinner during Training Camp, he gave each of us a lot of time to share what was on our hearts which I thought was an incredibly gracious thing to do.
Regarding my team’s strengths, I think that Cortney has a great way of encouraging people, I think Paul has a lot spiritual wisdom and tons of life experiences to back that wisdom up, I think Caroline’s strengths are wisdom, patience, and encouragement, I think David has a great ability to make everyone feel included, as well as deep biblical knowledge, Kyle has super-sized faith and brings great energy to encourage many, many people, and Kehinde has an incredible ability to listen, she has great faith, and she’s always, always, always pursuing the Lord. As for me, I do feel that I’ve been blessed with the gift of encouragement.”
One of my team mates, Kyle Kunkel still needs to raise $2,000 by December 19th in order to stay with Dependent by Faith and go on the World Race. Can you help him by supporting him? His blog is on the left hand side of my blog ( He’s the one with his mouth gaping open.) Please support Kyle and help him keep running the Race!
Thank you for reading and absorbing!
