Hi there. My name is Kim Harris, and I wanted to let you know I am sure that it is not a coincidence that you’re reading this letter. : ]
Let me tell you the beginning of a great story: Shortly after graduating college in 2008, I headed to China to teach English and stayed there until 2013. I left China to pursue a new opportunity: The World Race. The World Race is an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world, where I have been and will continue to bring His Hope to the nations. I have already been so blessed to serve in Guatemala and Honduras, I will be in Nicaragua until the end of the month, (March) and then I’m heading to Costa Rica, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Swaziland, and South Africa.
God has done some incredible things to me and through me on my World Race Journey so far. In regards to what He’s done through me and my team, we’ve have had the honor of praying over dozens of people, and when we prayed for the healing of one man’s eyes (he had cataracts) God really did heal his eyes, because after we prayed for him, he said he could see better than before!

In regards to what God is doing through me, He’s continuously teaching me about my worth, my identity in Him, how to declare truth over myself, how to be more dependent on Him, how to trust in Him more and more, and believing in His Promises.
One promise that God has graciously given to me is the opportunity for me to do ALL 11 months of the World Race. You see, I know, like I know, like I KNOW that my God does not make promises and then not keep them, so, I’m standing firmly on this promise and declaring that I will complete all 11 months of my World Race journey.
One of the greatest aspects of my World Race journey is that it’s not only for God, the people I’m serving, and my squad, it’s for you and your family, your friends, and your loved ones too! In order to be fully funded and therefore stay on the Race and serve in all 11 months, I need to have $16,254 in my World Race account. I still need to raise about $6,000 to be fully funded.
