There is a reason why babies are called “little miracles.”
Without getting into too much detail about the birds and the bees, the biological process of a baby being made and then being brought into this world is truly incredible.
There really are no words to describe how magnificent little ones truly are.
One thing that makes me get goose bumps is when I hear how babies come into this world, especially ones with a premature birth, or some kind of medical issue. It amazes me how some little ones must actively persevere to stay alive for the next minute, and then the next one, and so on.
I’ve seen these kinds of stories on TV and facebook, but I never thought that I’d hear stories that hit so close to me. As I’ve been praying for three babies, I’ve had the honor of being a part of these little warriors’ amazing stories.
These “little miracles” came into the world at different times, but they’re here, they’re fighting for their lives, and they’re not giving up.
Two girls, Adalynn Shea and Isabella Grace were born on August 18, 2014. They are monozygote twins, meaning they shared everything whilst in the womb, including the same umbilical cord. As they were receiving nutrients, if one baby received too many nutrients too fast, the other would be too weak to survive.
Their mother had to be very careful during her very tough and shortened pregnancy. Even coming into this world as premature babies, I am very, very happy to say both Adeline and Isabella came into the world. It truly was a miracle.
My team and I collectively prayed for Isabella, and we are so blessed to see the fruit of our prayers as we look at pictures of their beautiful faces.
Another little miracle who came into the world is Min Xuan. Since her birth, in China, she’s been diagnosed with Edward’s syndrome, a chromosonal disorder by the presence of an extra 18th chromosome. People around the world have been praying for her to be in good health, and since then, she’s been able to drink 25ml of milk instead of just 5 ml few days ago!
Prayer is powerful and effective.
Another way you can pray for Min Xuan is to pray that God would deliver the money necessary to cover her medical bills. (She’s been in the ICU for weeks, and the bill is quite large.)
I’d like to invite you to praise the Lord for the birth of all three of these “little miracles.” God’s got an amazing plan for each of their lives, and I personally am so excited to see how He strengthens each and every one of these little ones.
Thank you so much for reading my blog! : D
