Ok, this is RIDICULOUS. God is SO great. WOOF.

Ok, so during Training Camp, in the middle of an incredibly awesome time with God, I laid on the ground, which was actually sand. My camera fell out of my pocket, and some sand got in between the zoom part of the lens. Over the next few days, my camera kept hicupping and then eventually stopped working. It really bummed me out, because this camera is lightweight, simple, and is just a nice camera. 4 nights ago, I had a dream that my camera turned on. The next day, in real life, I turned it on, but there was no picture. Last night, I had a dream that the camera displayed a picture. Today, as I was on the computer all day, something in my gut told me to get my camera and plug it in. I plugged it in and charged it for about 10 mins, and I JUST checked it, AND IT WORKS AGAIN!

I am sure of two things, God is speaking to me through my dreams, and the metaphor about the camera slowly but surely being restored is the progress He wants to make within me.  He’s teaching me again and again that sanctification is not a one-time ordeal, it’s a process. We lovely creatures have a tendency to, for some reason, go through the same stuff over and over, re learning the same stuff over and over, but it’s when we re focus and fix our gaze upon Him, realizing our best shot at living a life of purpose and fulfillment is to depend on Him over and over because He’s designed us to be dependent on Him, that’s when the good stuff happens, and the relationship with Him becomes more intimate. God could have given me one dream in one night  where my camera was working again totally dandy hunkey- dory, but He chose to give me two dreams in two nights for  specific reasons, not only to build my faith but to remind me that it’s all a process!
