I started writing this blog on June 16th at about 9:00 pm. I did not finish it that night because God had a different plan for me that night.
I heard rain outside my window, got off my duff, went outside my hotel in Mandalay, Myanmar, to find some children that I knew playing soccer. We kicked the ball awkwardly, screaming,”World Cup”sang English songs, sang a Burmese song, learned the girl’s names and ages, Winny Win (18) Peoh peoh (20) Kim eh lwin ( 19) Kay ah lwin (14) and then gave them hugs and told them (in English) they are LOVED.
It was one of my favorite nights on the Race.
I want MORE nights like this, but I’m in serious jeopardy of not being able to stay on the Race, unless the remainder of my support comes in.
He doesn’t make half- promises…
I’ve learned many things since the beginning of the Race. I’ve learned I’m OUTRAGEOUSLY LOVED, not for how much money I have earned or even given, not because of my body size, not because of what I’ve done or said, but I’m just loved because I’m loved because I’m LOVED.
I’ve also learned that I’m called to stand on God’s promises. God knows that the World Race is 11 months long, and He’s going to keep me on the Race, because my God doesn’t stop meeting my needs half way. He goes all out.
My God, the Great I AM,doesn’t make half, promises, He makes full, hearty, promises that I can believe in.
Here’s the situation…
Now the real fun begins. I need a bare minimum of $16,254 in my World Race account by July 1st.
I currently have $11,865.
That’s it, plain and simple, friends. Please pray. If you just read this and got an inkling to help me out, if you just got that churning in your tummy, or if your conscience just told you something, please understand, I don’t have much time left (about 10 days) so now’s the time to take action and help me by praying that I’ll be fully funded by the deadline and/or donating.
If you’re feeling called to steward your finances in other ways, that’s great! If you can’t support me financially at this time, that’s ok! If you can’t support me financially right now, my simple request is that you’d stand alongside me, declaring that my God WILL meet this need I have to be fully funded by July 1, 2014. If you’d also like to share my blog with your friends and loved ones, I’d really appreciate it.

God’s going to continue to dance and move
as I become fully funded and stay on the World Race.
