WOW. I have less than a week left before I leave for this amazing journey known as the world race! I’m so excited to get started, but it’s hard saying goodbye to all of the amazing people in my life. Even though I’ll be traveling all over the world for the next 11 months, it doesn’t mean I don’t still want to hear how everyone is doing and keep in touch with you all!! Please stay updated with the blog, comment on my posts, and, if you have facebook, please look me up and stay in touch that way as well!!
As I prepare to leave, please say some FIERCE prayers for me that I would be able to say all my goodbyes and get all my things in order, get the rest of the gear and items that I need, and be able to get everything to fit in my pack!
Also send some FIERCE love and encouragement my way as my emotional state feels like a roller coaster and changes from moment to moment it seems.
…wondering yet why I keep saying FIERCE? well, if you’ve forgotten, my team name for this journey is F.I.E.R.C.E, which is a representation of our goal to have fierce Faithfulness, fierce Integrity, fierce Evangelism, fierce Restoration, fierce Compassion, and of course a fierce dose of Estrogen being that we are a team of all ladies ; )
That being said, please keep team F.I.E.R.C.E. in your prayers! Even before we leave, some things to keep in mind:
-Whitney ( whitneygoolsby.theworldrace.org ) is still needing to raise 150.00 as well as still getting some immunizations and gear!! Please say a FIERCE prayer over her and this journey now- and if you feel led, please contact her with any help you can give
-See Eun ( seeeunkim.theworldrace.org ) is our dedicated team leader for this journey, so please send some FIERCE prayers her way as well, that she would continue to rest on the Lord and His faithfulness and have confidence in the leadership abilities that He has given her.
-Cicely (cicelytillman.theworldrace.org) please send your FIERCE prayers to Cicely that she would be able to say all the goodbyes she needs to, and spend plenty of time with her loved ones before beginning this journey- pray for her peace and continued confidence that ALL is in the Lord’s hands.
-Lori ( loriannrosario.theworldrace.org ) she is soo close to being completely fully funded! Please continue to send the FIERCE prayers her way as the Lord shows Himself to be faithful in her endeavors, this girl is working HARD! – send some FIERCEness also for her packing ability, she may need the extra prayers here : )
-Jenna ( jennaellison.theworldrace.org ) your FIERCE prayers for this girl are appreciated as she is making this big change in her life- graduating college and then immediately taking off for this world race journey with us! Pray that she would be able to fully grasp every moment and make the most of all the Blessings that God is throwing her way!
