A list of the many things that I am thankful for:
– my family, whom has supported and encouraged me tirelessly and given me so much more than I deserve
– my friends, some who I have known a very long time, and some only a little while- but all of them are the best people that a person could ever know
– my job- first of all, I am thankful that I have one, but I am also thankful for it enabling me to pursue my passions and develop my strengths. I have met SO MANY awesome people, both co-workers and customers, who I now am glad to call my dear friends. I have learned so much in the nearly 3 years that I have been with this same company and I am proud to call it my second home.
-my church family, who has also done so much to inspire and encourage me to follow God’s path
-my house, the fact that I have a place to live with my own room, heating, air conditioning, electricity, running water, and enough furniture to fill it is proof that I live in a blessed nation and have a blessed life. 2/3 of this world lives on less than $1 a day and would stand amazed at seeing all that I have.
– my car, even though it’s had it’s issues- it has been pretty dependable and is able to get me to my job, to church, and has given me so much more freedom that a lot of people can experience
– my nationality- just being born in the Unites States of America is a huge blessing. I am free to practice my religion, free to speak my mind, I am able to vote and give my say for the leadership of the nation, I do not have to worry about dictatorship or being dominated and forced into thinking one way or another. I am allowed to disagree. I am allowed to decide my future and have many opportunities to find my own way.
– the world race. I am thankful for this opportunity to give up all these blessings in exchange for new ones. I am thankful that I will soon be able to share my blessings and to provide others with the greatest blessing of all- the love of our Lord.

I ask that you would pray for me as I prepare to both give and gain so much with this journey that the Lord has for me. Pray that I would remain thankful and always count my blessings.
