I have some prayer requests that I would LOVE some prayer for. First of all, this coming weekend I am travelling to Illinois to attend a craft fair at my old high school (where my younger sister currently attends) and I will be sharing with people about my trip as my Stepmom Heather has graciously decided to give all her proceeds as a donation towards my trip. Please pray for a great turnout, and that I will be able to make many more connections! I still have 1138.00 to raise by December 28th in order to be on that January 9th flight to Zambia! I’m hoping that the rest will come in after the weekend!

ALSO, this is the school that has been supporting Silas, and I am sure they would appreciate a great turnout and support for him too! For any of you out there that may not know. Silas Martin and his mother are good friends of mine as his sister Kristin is one of my closest friends. Kristin and I went to high school together and her younger brother Silas had brain cancer a while back. He had beaten it and been in remission for 3 years, when recently it was discovered there was another tumor growing in the front of his brain. Silas and his mother Gloria are coming down to St. Louis Children’s Hospital to get his radiation treatments, and are staying in our fixed-up basement to be closer to the hospital and not have to drive back and forth (about 3 hours) multiple times a week. He is really optimistic and says he will beat it again, but naturally this is a stressful time. PLEASE continue to keep them in your prayers as well

I would also ask you all to remember my team, team F.I.E.R.C.E., as we all have funds to raise still and we try to stay in touch and connect and grow as teammates. If you would like to adopt my team and keep up with our journey and commit to praying for us, please go here: http://www.theworldrace.org/?tab=teams&subtab=adopt-a-team&whichteam=F.I.E.R.C.E. to learn more!

I have been so blessed by the prayer and support of all of you and I know that God is working mightily through all of you as well. Please, if you have anything you would like me to pray for YOU for, let me know! Also, please feel free to comment and share your stories by commenting on my blogs and posts as well. Any time God works and we interceed for each other it is a blessing and encouragement, and I LOVE getting to hear a good ‘God story’

Thank you

Kim
