Yesterday I went with our contact and 5 of
my squad mates to pass out invitations in a nearby village. The invitations
were for children to come to an event for Christmas. We split into 3 teams to
walk the streets and hand them out. Evan and I got put on a street were the
most life we saw was a pack of turkey’s. On the 2nd street
we got a lot of opposition from the few people we did see. One of the men
seemed to be telling us (with hand motions) that he was going to use our
invitation as toilet paper.

As we were about to walk our last street my
teammate, Kayla, told me that this particular village had 5000 people and ZERO
believers. Shocking! I was taken back to say the least. As soon as we got out
of the car I turned to Evan and said, “I know that there are many unreached
people in the world, so why am I so shocked that there are ZERO believers
here?” The whole time we walked that street I prayed for that to change. For
God to change the hearts of the people of this village toward Him. For the
children of this village to be a people that brings the gospel of Christ to
Romania. For God to move in the hearts of His people to reach out to this and
other unreached villages around the world.

After, I realized that my shock was because
this was the first known time in my life where I was in a place where there
were ZERO Christians. But this is only ONE of many places in the world and now
my eyes have been opened to the importance of ONE.

After we got back in the car I heard more
of the story of this village. There was ONE woman who was a Christian there and
she died a few weeks ago. She brought Light into the darkness and because of
her that village is changed forever. How hard must it have been to be the ONE?
Could you be the ONE?

My teammate Kelly wrote more about the ONE:

Please join us in prayer for South
Romania. For missionaries to come and for believers to rise up here!

Many Blessings,

Kim
