I would like to introduce the W Squad! There are about 70 of us and over the past few months we have grown rather close. Although I have only met face to face with a few of my teammates, Facebook and Skype have allowed us to communicate and get to know one another. I would encourage you to take a look at some of their stories and blogs!
It is so amazing and humbling to see the men and women of God that He has chosen me to be a part of! These guys have been such a huge blessing to me and I cannot thank them enough! Over the past few months we have struggled together, prayed together, laughed together, and so much more. We have also set goals together.
As a squad we have determined to pray in faith that our squad be the first fully funded squad before we leave on July 1st. This is a HUGE goal to say the least; 70 people, $15,500 each, equals $1,085,000!!! HOLY MOLY!!! I haven’t seen that calculation before now… BUT praise GOD, He is the provider!!!! “What is impossible with man is possible with God” (Luke 18:27).
So here is the deal, as soon as I am fully funded I will continue to fundraise for my teammates, and many of my teammates are doing the same.
Here is where it gets a little uncomfortable for me… I am asking for your support. As uncomfortable as that is, God has been teaching me that I should not be ashamed to ask for help. He wants to give His children opportunities to build His Kingdom, and this is one of them. I would appreciate your prayerful consideration in supporting me financially.
