Leaving the country for 11 months I knew
that there were some big moments in the lives of my family and friends that I
was going to miss. The past 5 days have been chopped full of these kinds of
moments. From holidays to wedding dress shopping there have been several
moments that a part of me wishes I could have been a part of. Even though I
wouldn’t trade this experience for the world, I began to tear up today knowing
that I missed the birth of my ‘niece’ Halle Nicole Adams.
Nicole Adams came into the world on November 27, 2011, (at least I think that…
I can’t figure it out with the time difference… ha!) to amazing parents David
and Jessica Adams.
Halle,
Let me tell you, you have some awesome
parents! God has blessed you with them and I know they feel incredibly blessed
to call you daughter. But even greater than that your heavenly Father loves you
and desires to be your Abba! I pray that you always know how much He loves you.
Here is my prayer for you and what I would say to you if I was there with you:
“Be strong in the Lord, never give up hope.
You’re gonna’ do great things, I already know. God’s got His hand on you, so
don’t live life in fear. Forgive and forget, but don’t forget why your here.
Take the time to pray, these are the words I would say.” (The Words I would
Say, Sidewalk Prophets)
You are so loved little girl! Even from
Romania my heart longs to see your beautiful face.
Here is some truth for you:
For you created my
inmost being;
you
knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I
praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your
works are wonderful,
I know that full
well. ~Psalm 139:13-14
Before I formed you
in the womb I knew you,
before
you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as
a prophet to the nations.
~Jeremiah 5:1
David and Jessica,
I love you both and I am so excited to see
you guys grow as a family! Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl!
Many Blessings,
Auntie Kim
