This month we are working with New Life.
New Life is the name for what we know as Campus Crusade or CRU in the US. We are working
with their high school ministry. Ministering with the students is amazing; they
LOVE Americans! Today they even had us give them our signatures. When I told
them I was not famous a little boy said, “You are famous to us!” It was
adorable. Most of our ministry consists of helping the full time staff prepare
and host events for the kids.

All of the kids who wanted me to read in English and give them my autograph.

Here is what our schedule looks like this
month:

7:00am – Wake up, get ready, have
breakfast, possibly work out

9:00am – Walk to the bus

9:15am – Get off the bus and walk 10
minutes to the New Life offices

10:00am – We usually have a meeting about
the day and pray with the staff

11:30am – Go to high schools and invite
kids to come to the events

L to R: Kristen, Aldo, Blair, and Glenn – Handing out cards at the schools

1:30pm – Some days we have coffee dates
with the students to talk with them more. Other days we eat lunch (this is
early for lunch, sometimes we don’t eat until 3pm. 3pm would be normal in
Albania).

Coffee date with some ladies, both named Arie
3:00pm – Lunch or some days we are done by
this time and we use this time for feedback and team time or exercise and
internet. Other days we have events to host or other coffee dates with
students.

One day for team time we rode bikes through the park. They cost $0.60 for 1 hour! This is Kristen, one of our squad leaders.

6:00pm – We typically eat dinner around
this time.

8:00pm – Most days we are home by this
time. We have feedback and team time together before we go to bed.

9:30pm – If we didn’t workout in the
morning then we typically work out at this time.

10:30pm – Typically in bed by this time.

Later this month I think we will be having
more Bible studies with the students, we will be performing the Lifehouse
drama, and we will have English clubs available for the students. (They are
very eager to learn English here.)

Our team in the amphitheater
in the park.

Please pray that the students are receptive
to the gospel. Most of the students come from a Muslim background and families.
We are excited to learn more about this culture and to show these kids the love
of Christ.

Many Blessings,

Kim
