So there are a variety of needs that need to be met.
First is of course the …ahem … money … situation. I need to raise $14,300 for the entire trip. YES! That is a LOT of money but hey, I’m going to be gone for a YEAR in 11 different Countries. Meaning air plane tickets, food, transportation, living, in 11 different places for 11 MONTHS!
Secondly is prep needs which includes a MASS of prayer for those who we’ll encounter. We need the prayers to wrap the entire mission in a prayer cocoon of those not only I will be hanging out with and sharing life but the ENTIRE team as well. Prayers for Team chemistry that we can find peace with one another, that we can become one with a mind set for the mission, for no distractions, for brotherly love.
BUT prep also includes some of the gear that I’ll need to beg, borrow, or scrounge for like a tent, internal frame back pack, shots, and transportation to and from training camp in Georgia.
Finally a big issue even bigger than money is prayer while we are gone as well. So be fervently praying for us and especially our future friends while we trek out of or comfortable United States and out into the foreign lands of India, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Romania, Ukraine, and Ireland.
