Since being on the world race my team and I have done so many different things. Sometimes we go to our ministry site and our host asks us to do the most random things. I still to this day question whether or not they know that I in fact am not trained in all the areas they ask me to serve in. I’m not upset about it in the least, I’ve grown so much and learned so many things through this but it’s also pretty funny when I think about all the things I can put on my “World Race Resume.”

Here’s a small list….

English Teacher

Constuction (Building pipes and doing plumbing. Electrical work. Planting Gardens and laying gravel)

Teaching Voice Lessons

Planning and Running a Vacation Bible School

Teaching in a Government School and Receiving certificates and job offers.

Teaching Guitar

Preaching or Leading a Bible study

Planning and leading a kids program for children with special needs and disabilities.

These are just a few of the things I could think of. Often, we get thrown into the same things each month. I’ve taught english in 3 of our 6 countries so far, some people have taught it in almost all of the countries we’ve been to.
It’s a blast but it’s also crazy because I’m definitely not qualified on paper to do most of these tasks. But it’s a huge learning process and growing experience. 🙂

Below is a video my team and I made to say goodbye to our Alumni Squad Leaders who just made it back to the states about a week ago. Please keep them in your prayers as they transition into life back home, and as they begin new chapters in their lives.
