Good Afternoon!
I hope this finds you well and in good health considering all the sickness going around these days.
Wow, it has been a hot minute since I returned home from the World Race and I just kind of wanted to send out an update to everyone who financially supported me or prayed for me while I was away and since coming home. I’m going to do my best to get you up to date and share with you as briefly as possible how my time was. There is so much to say but I’ll try to keep it short.
UH-MAZ-ING. I’m not sure what other words could encompass what last year was like for me.
A year ago today I was wandering the streets of Nepal, prayer walking through villages, going into dance bars, buying time with the women and just sharing the love of Jesus with them.
My first country was India. In India my team and I worked with an incredible organization called Sarah’s Covenant Homes. They foster and care for orphaned and abandoned children in India with special needs and disabilities. These children are looked at as cursed in India and most often just left to die. Sarah’s Covenant Homes loves and cares for these children, giving them an education, teaching them about Jesus and seeking specialized care for whatever needs they have. Incredible! If you’d like to check out this organization some more or donate to the amazing things they are doing you can visit their website.

In Vietnam my team and I stayed in a beach/college town called Nha Trang. This month will forever be one of my favorite months on the race. We taught English to college students and made great friends while also getting to share the gospel and the love of Christ with them.
In Cambodia we did manual labor for an organization called Remember Nhu. This organization helps to prevent high at risk children for being sold for sex. In Cambodia(and many countries) poor families will sell their children for sex in order to make money to provide for the family. This organization helps prevent that by offering the families a good education for their children so that when they are older, the children are able to make good money and provide for their parents and siblings. When the children come to live on the property they are given a good education and are taught about Jesus in hopes that one day they will believe in Him and that they can tell their families about Him as well. You can check out Remember Nhu here:

In Bulgaria we visited orphanages every day, sharing our testimonies, playing games with the kids, doing crafts and just having fun with them. This month ignited a passion in my heart for the children there and I am hoping to return to Bulgaria in October.
These are just a few things we did on the world race that really impacted me. There are so many stories, I could talk for hours. If you would like to hear more, please reach to me. We can grab coffee (my treat) and we can chat. I can share with you the things that the Lord did in my life and in the lives of the people I met. I would also LOVE to hear about what the Lord did in your life in 2017!
I also would like to ask for your prayers as I enter the next season of my life. In preparation for entering into full time missions in the next year or so (In Bulgaria hopefully) I am attending a leadership/discipleship school in Georgia. This school will help me immensely in my leadership and discipleship skills and to prepare me for a life of service and ministry. Overseas or in the states. I will be leaving for this program on March 8th.
I am once again looking for prayer and financial partners as I have to raise another $5,000 in order to complete this program.
Thank you so much for all of your prayers and for donating towards my trip. Thank you for believing in me and for supporting something SO much more than just an excursion to 11 countries. Last year was incredible, all thanks to YOU!
