Don’t go on the World Race if…

1. If you expected to be living in a tent for 11 months straight
2. If you expected that you would totally be giving up comforts for an entire year
3. If you expected for every single aspect of the race to be challenging
4. If you never expected your route to change (more than once), your team to change, or anything else to change constantly
5. If you expected community to look a certain way
6. If you expected for your life to change overnight
7. If you expected to fall in love with every ministry you work with
8. If you expected the Race to change your life, simply because you’re going on the World Race
9. If you feel called to a certain country, so that’s why you chose that particular route
10. If you think life will be rainbows and butterflies every day of the Race
11. If you thought your problems before the Race would go away
12. If you expected you would never shower, because you’re hardcore like that
13. If you’re an extreme germaphobe
14. If you don’t have a WILLINGNESS to grow and change
15. If you think every day is going to be a “Jesus High”
16. If you expect to see radical healings and miracles every day OR healings and miracles period
17. If you like a certain kind of worship
18. If you like ice.
19. If you automatically think God will be audibly speaking to you by month 2
20. If you like being alone
21. If you like consistency in everything
22. If you think that God can’t teach you the same thing twice
23. If you’re not willing for others to see your weaknesses
24. If you don’t get your way you’ll be upset
25. If you’re not willing to let go of your expectations
26. If you expected to be bffles with everyone
27. If you expect to be on the same team with the people you get close with on your squad facebook page

But you SHOULD go on the Race if….
1. You’re open
2. You’re willing to see God move, in whatever way He chooses
3. You are broken, realizing you’re not perfect
4. You are willing to go with the flow
5. You want to say “yes” to God, in every circumstance
6. You want to see God move in new ways
7. You want to step outside of the American norm of the Christian faith
8. You see that you’re just as messed up as everyone else
9. You are ready to open your arms to God and say, “Whatever you want, Father.”
10. You want to see all the people God has created, besides Americans
11. You want to see the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth
12. You want to grow and step into challenge by choice
13. You want to see love in a whole new light
14. You want to be apart of God’s greater plan around the world
15. You are willing to be obedient to God’s plans, WHATEVER that may look like
16. You’re willing to follow
17. You want to walk through new challenges
18. You want to be surrounded by a bunch of people who love Jesus
19. You are willing to have your walk with Jesus be constantly molded and changed
