Shortly prior before leaving the quaint little town of San Pedro, Cote D’Ivoire, I got to experience one of my favorite of things, LOVE. Love in the form of little kisses from the Most High crashing in on me from none other than the waves of the Atlantic. As I allowed the water to embrace me, I was reminded how immensely we are loved by The Creator. We are loved so much and so dearly that he doesn’t want us to settle for anything less than a love that is all powerful and all encompassing that comes only from above. I sit here writing this wondering how I could ever settle for anything less ,whenever the things he has for me are beyond my comprehension. Yet I playback my life in my mind and remember how time and time again I compromise this love for something mediocre. People say that hate is the opposite of love but I’m very much convinced that mediocracy might be the very thing that rivals love. I believe that The Creator has made this world so immensely vast and beautiful for us to experience it in abundance. Love is no exception to this and I am convinced the Most High wants us to experience this in all its goodness. However, it is impossible for us to experience something so wonderful without allowing for The Creator of all things beautiful to be present. We can’t experience life to the fullest without God at the center of it all and I can assure you that The Creator is nowhere near mediocracy. Mediocracy lies in settling, and settling is accepting things less than what we deserve. I know fully that since we were created by such a gracious and loving God that he wants nothing less than for us to experience a life and love that Is out of this world. I challenge you today, to ask The Most High to show you a love that is interstellar and breathtaking in every way. A love that is personalized and unique to you and you alone. A love that can come from no other place than the one who gave life to all of creation. From the words of the renowned novel, “We accept the love we think we deserve. “ Today and everyday accept that you are worthy to be loved. I fully believe that you are, and most importantly so does the Most High.
