Recently I have been extremely stressed out with finances, fundraising, and my time at home shrinking. I was trying to compartmentalize but instead of that it all just exploded in a really heavy mess. I walked into my church building to bring my dad and brother dinner and a dance teacher was setting up for their showcase. I was soon to find out that this woman's name was Tasha. Tasha, is a beautiful ballerina. This chick glowed. It wasn't because she was blonde or because her hair was in a messy bun like Tinker Bell, it was because she was beaming. She walked right up to me and gave me a huge hug and said, "Kiana! How are you my sister? I am so excited for your trip!"

I have never met this woman. Yeah my family had done a great job of talking me up before I got there and showing so much support, but in that moment all I could do was burst into tears.

When people are filled with The Spirit they know your soul. They know what you need to hear from Jesus and they allow themselves to be a vessel of his love. Tasha began to pour Jesus' love over me.

"You don't need to know how it's going to work. You just need to come to the Lord with your hands open and ask him to use you. Are you scared? That's ok. This right here is a part of the process. This is all a piece of what the Lord needs you to learn and go through. He is here."

God never ceases to provide people in my life to speak truth when I feel lost. Not once have I cried out to my Abba in desperation for clarity about this trip and not been affirmed by him. He is awesome. The God I serve is truly awesome and I was reminded about this from a stranger.

I want to be used liked Tasha.

I want to continue to be so close to my Lord that when he instructs me to say something, I will. I want my light to shine like Tasha's.  I want to be mistaken for Tinker Bell 😉

If you are feeling stressed out or like stuff is getting to difficult to do alone, let me be Tinker Bell for a second. The Lord is present in this mess. He is using you right where you are. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." (NLT) You don't need to know. It doesn't need to come from your own understanding. You have a maker who sees the past and the future and he is with you now walking in your present. Give it all to him to direct you. He will not fail you.

Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”(NIV)

For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.
