I did not meet the financial deadline to be able to go on the September 3 route. At first I was pretty upset about this. I really felt like September was the time to leave, but then again, that could have been me wanting to leave then so I could start this Journey for me. I now am leaving January of 2014. I somehow have a feeling that this was the Lords timing all along. I now am grateful that I have more time to prepare before I leave. I don't have to stress about fundraising and getting everything I need for the trip. I am learning the process of waiting on the Lord and molding to his plans and expectations, not my own.
I will have more blogs to come before I leave, although the real blogging starts after I leave. Please continue to pray that more fundraising connections come through, and that I can find a good full time job to work for a while before I leave.
