Here is a photo blog for you all for my month thus far in Honduras.

I spent Easter with my team at an awesome ministry called Heart of Christ. It’s a home for girls who have been abused and it is a place full of love and hope. This is the sunrise from easter morning.

We got to join a beautiful parade for raising awareness of children in poverty. We didn’t know this, but it just happened to be National “kids on the streets” day. The organization that set up the parade is called Manuelito Project. They take in kids from the streets and disciple them, love them, and feed them. They show them hope in Jesus and they empower them.

“Blessed is the one who thinks of the poor. On the bad day, Jehovah will liberate them.”

At the end of the parade we got to participate in the performances. We talk about the world race and sang a few songs. The kids put on beautiful performances ande shows to represent what God is doing among them and in their lives.

We ride in the beds of trucks a lot. It’s hot and windy and always gives us a good view. Thanks Honduras.

A good picture of symbolism. We can always choose the path that we want to go down.
