Our ministry in Romania (Transylvannia) finished and so we headed to Brasov to board a train that would take us back to Bucharest where our squad and plane was waiting for us.  Before leaving Brasov however our team decided to take a day to just be tourists.  Vlad III ruled in the 15th century with a reputation for being cruel and sadistic.  Bram Stoker supposedly created his famous Dracula character in his classic novel from Vlad III.    Since Vlad III took refuge at Bran Castle, its well regarded for being the “home” of Dracula.  I have to admit I was disappointed visiting the castle that I found no coffins or bats flying around.

The next morning we took a train to Bucharest where the rest of the sqaud met up with us at the airport.  We boarded a plane around midnight with a shamrock on the wing which gave me a sure sign we were headed to the right place.  Landing in Dublin, Ireland didn’t help its stereotype… cold and rainy.
