Hey everyone! I am now in Malealea, Lesotho in month 11, which means that I’ll be home at the beginning of next month! I’m sure I’ll post this later–like during final debrief or when I’m back stateside–but it’s currently May 20th. Four more days till we leave for Cape Town!

This month has been so great. It’s just us guys out here in Lesotho; all of the girls are in South Africa. We are partnered with an awesome South African family that runs a missions school out here. During our time here, we’ve been active in repairing the road that leads up to their house, digging trenches, building fences, harvesting crops, building new “long drops,” and welding up new beams and columns for an extension to their church.

I don’t really know if there’s one lesson or theme that I can pinpoint for this month, but I do know that this has been an awesome way to end the Race. Our contact here is one of my favorites that I’ve had on the Race, its been way fun getting to hang out with just guys and encourage/make fun of one another as brothers, we live in a vast valley full of corn surrounded by beautiful large mountains, and its been refreshing and restful to just work with my hands this month and not think too much.

I’ve been incredibly blessed to be able to do this trip. I can honestly say that other than accepting Jesus as my savior, making the decision to do the World Race has been the best one I’ve ever made.

The Lord has done so many great things in, through, and around me during this time, and I am so thankful for all of the hard times that I faced while being a Racer. It was during these times that I grew the most.

Thank you everyone for making this trip possible for me through your prayers and financial gifts. I look forward to proccessing my time over seas with you all. You can probably expect one more blog from me when I am back stateside.

Also, I’m still waiting on receiving Swaziland pictures before I post that blog. I haven’t forgot about it!
