CGA is just about over. I have learned a lot about myself and grown in my walk with Christ; I am not the same that I was when I got here in September. Many of you know that after CGA I will be Squad Leading for C Squad in January, but what you may not know is why.
The simple answer to the why question is that I know it is where God wants me.
The deeper answer is that there is a calling on my life and this is one step in walking in that calling.
On more than a few occasions God and other people have spoken leadership and influence over me. These are powerful, God given gifts. My desire is that they would be developed and used to build God’s Kingdom, not mine.
I want to lead and influence people in a way that points them to Christ. I want to lead people to the restorative power of Christ’s love. I want to empower people to live radically for God. I want to see people rise above the lies of the enemy. I want to see men walk in honor, integrity, and vulnerability. I want to see women walk in confidence, grace, and power.
This is what God has put on my heart and this is why I am squad leading.
