Hello from Nepal!
This will have to be a quick one as I am short on time. I would first like to say that Nepal is great. The people are very sweet and hospitable. The natural beauty in Kothe were I currently find myself is amazing. (Pictures will surely come when I have more time with internet.)
The team and I have had to move locations several times since our arrival in Nepal on the 5th which made things challenging for ministry and a little taxing on the team. We are in good spirits and trusting that the Lord will get us where we are needed. At the first location we had the opportunity to share the Gospel and speak out against human trafficking which has become a big problem in Nepal. This is a ministry we have plans to do more of during the rest of our time here.
On one of our off days, while walking through the town it began to rain and our host directed us into a nearby building to wait it out. Inside we came across a class where girls were being taught to make garments. We where in the room less than a minute and our host informed me that I would be speaking to them. I was completely take off guard! After a quick prayer asking for the Holy Spirit to help me, through an interpreter I did my best to communicate who I am, who Jesus is, and how he has made me a better person and changed my life. 1 Peter 3:15 has never been more really to me then in that moment.
Please pray for the rest of our time in Nepal as we minister, encourage other Christians, and do what we can to fight the battle against human trafficking.
