So this is a video that I made encompassing our entire month in Guatemala. I opted to not put a bunch of text slides into it so here is a general synopsis of the order of things.
It starts on the flight from LAX and then launch in Antigua, Guatemala.
We became Team Brady right away consisting of: Greg Houghton, Cara Parker, Nikki Medders, Brandi Jo Magee, Becca Fujimoto, and myself.
As a squad we hiked the Volcano Pacaya.
We worked at Casa Verde in Puerto Barrios, Guatemalafor the month doing a variety of ministries including:
-Childrens Ministry through song and dance
-Clothing Distribution
-Working at a little village in the mountains cleaning and having worship
-We went to Livingston for a weekend where we rested and hiked and had a good time
-We worked on several occasions at the local orphanage worshiping, giving them clothing, playing games, and distributing toys that my Uncle Jeffrey brought when he came down with my Dad.
-The reason they came was because I had surgery our 3rd week so I included some footage I took of my room while I was in my hospital bed.
-We also had the opportunity to throw a wedding for 2 of the people who worked with our ministry. It was the first wedding that I have photographed and a lot of fun.
The last few shots were during our travel day to Nicaragua we got to a place where we had to stop and wait for them to finish building the bridge we needed to cross. So we just hung out on the road for a few hours and had some good worship time.
Hope you enjoy the video its a little long but just imagine how much longer it would be if I didn’t spend a week out of that month in the hospital 🙂
