So.. it took me a really long time this month to get the pronunciation and the spelling correct for the small fishing village that we have been living in in Thailand. I have loved serving here this month we have had the opportunity to do a variety of different things.
Our contacts were Dana and Cindy Bratton they are from the states and pastor a church here in the village. Besides preaching and holding bible studies Dana also has a radio show a few days a week which I had the opportunity to speak on as well as in church that same Sunday. He does cleanup and work around the community and really just pours himself out.
Cindy teaches english at 2 local elementary schools in the area 4 days a week. We had the opportunity for a few of us to go with her each day and help teach. It was a lot of fun. She also does a lot with Kids Club which meets at the Church on Saturday afternoons.
It’s been a great month and they’ve showed us a lot of great sites around Phuket. I also had the opportunity to make 2 videos for them. The first I posted a little while ago and I just finished the second which is about their ministries and here it is.
