Well we are here. At our first ministry site. This is really starting!! We arrived on Wednesday afternoon in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala. I’m really thankful that we are able to work with an american contact which is a real blessing so that we don’t have a language barrier to work around while we get accustomed to this new style of life. As well as learn about our new team members. Which I will now tell you about. They are:

It’s always hard to start this kind of journey with a big change such as the team you are on. But it’s been great I’m still with two of my old teammates and i’m enjoying getting to know the other 3.
We’ve been doing a variety of ministries since we got here we have led a church service, held a an event for children in the park where we learned some dance to spanish childrens songs well learned maybe isn’t the right word… we watched someone and tried to copy their movement all in front of the kids. We also had a pinata for them which they LOVED.
Last night we went to Pastor Willy’s where we were able to help give out clothes to some of the local people and put on another show for the kids and then we just got to dance and play with them. I lost my voice from singing London Bride is Falling Down. The hardest part was leaving when they didn’t want to let go of our hands. The kids of Puerto Barrios have already stolen my heart. Well I’m about to head to the beach to pick up some trash and then we will be running another church service tonight with testimonies, a sermon, and worship. Please continue to pray for the teams here we are loving what we are doing but it can also be hard just to see the conditions and also pouring out so much.
