Do you know what is making me angry?

Of course you
don’t, but I am going to tell you anyways!

Where are the men?

I
may be one of the biggest feminists out there, but this year my heart has been softened.
I could have not done this race without my brothers in Christ. They have walked
with me in this journey and taught me the value of myself.  I did not know my worthiness and
everyday I am reminded that I am worthy!

My
teammates David and Chris, especially have not given up on me, even though they
have every reason to. They have seen my bad, ugly and down right nasty. Yet
they still remain and never have walked away. I can see their love for me in
their eyes and I am so thankful for them.

So,
what is the problem you may ask? Well the problem is that there is a shift of
focus
. I have told you that I am a feminist, but I also believe that we must be dependent on each other. When you take men out of the equation, nothing will
work.

So, here are some problems I see…

1)
Men are built-in with the focus that they must
provide, get a job and make money.

2)
When men are not valued or respected, they will
emotionally step down.

3)
Satan attacks men in the area of respect. This
can have the influence to ruin marriages and families.

4)
Passivity is ever increasing and their voices
are being drowned out.

What needs to change?

We
need
men in the mission field.

We need men to rise up and be the warriors that
they are.

We need men to be the leaders in their churches, communities,
marriages, and families.

We need men to stop allowing the voice of society,
circumstances, and Satan to war upon their souls.

We
need
them, I need them, so let their voice rise, just like the time when Joshua
and the Israelites raised their voices, as one unit, to bring down the wall of
Jericho. So, now is the time for the godly, holy men to raise their voices and
bring down the wall of division, the wall of destruction, and the wall of
injustice.

So
wake up!

Take your place!

You are wanted!

You
are needed!

You are valued!

You are the change!

Lord, I pray Joshua 1:9
over my brothers, that you will ever increase their strength. Day after day,
capture their hearts and let their eyes forever behold your beauty oh, God.
Remind them of whom they are and that you have destined them to change
governments, nations, churches, and people. They are not rejected; they are
loved and valued for who they are. Remind them everyday of their purpose.
Remind them that they are warriors for the Kingdom. They are princes and kings.
They are pushers and dreamers. They will walk outside of the norms, they will
risk it all, and they will see you and receive the award!
