I went on the mission field January 2010 with the World Race.

(My amazing, amusing, miraculous, and marvelous M-Squad)

I never knew through God’s expectations that I would be embarking on a journey
of complete abandonment. That the things of this world will never satisfy me no
more, that I will literally pick up my bag with the few possessions that I have
and leap out of safety and be picked up by the wind of crazy.

So long comfortable. Goodbye easiness. Hello God

When you step into a land of unknown and feel the rush of a
thousand winds meet you square in the face, you know this has to be God. No one
in their RIGHT mind would leave behind everything they know to spend a year not
in one country, but in 11. It’s not natural, but it is normal.

I love the story of Abram in Genesis 12:1-3, “The Lord had
said to Abram “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and
go to the land I will show you. “I will make you into a great nation and I will
bless you; I will make your name great and you will be a blessing. I will bless
those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on
earth will be blessed through you.”

Vs. 4 “So Abram LEFT.”

Abram later on Abraham never saw the fulfillment of this
promise, but if he never left and obeyed God how could he ever start out on the
journey towards this promise?

How often we stop half-way to what God has told us to do. So
many times when I have been ask to speak about missions and I have had young to older people come up to me and have said, “I have always felt a call on my
life for missions, but I never took it.”

When you don’t WALK in the God dreams of your life, you will
NOT reap the harvest and SEE the fruit of your obedience.

God is looking for extravagant lovers, willing to reach out
and do the impossible because they believe in the God of possibilities.

Are you this lover?

Are you one who has overcome the devil by the power of your
testimony?

Revelations 12:11 AMP, “And they have overcome (conquered) him
by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for
they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their
lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].”

We are living in days when we are close to bringing the gospel
to the WHOLE world. God is building His kingdom, expanding His forces and
making His way across the earth.

What would happen if you were one of those warriors He called
out?

Most Christians would hide in their corners hoping they would
not be seen by a God who sees everything.

If right now in this minute God said
to you, “feed my sheep.” What would you do?

Last night my friend Jon shared his testimony. He
was sharing a moment he had when he was first experiencing the Holy Spirit. He
was in his normal non-charismatic church and he decided to enter into worship
by focusing on seeking God’s face. All of a sudden he was taken to a dump in
Africa surrounded by children. He remembered very clearly hearing God say,
feed my sheep.” He quickly got up and gathered all the people around him and
he began to preach the Father’s love message.

Now my friend has never been to Africa, but God began to show
him in that moment what it means to love extraordinary with the Father’s heart.
Jon has never been the same since. He has worked for Urban Promise working with
street kids and the last couple years he has been partnered up with YWAM  making a difference in those he
disciples, but also making waves among the nations because He has been wrecked
with the Father’s love.

Have you ever heard the quote, “hurting people, hurt people?”
Well I think people who know they are loved by God, and love themselves can
love others deeply with the love they have received from God. Just as hurting
people causes a ripple effect, so does loving people.

I can tell you numerous occasions when I was serving overseas
where I was wreaked for just one person in the midst of a crowd. It was because
God gave me His heart for that person, just like when Jesus was moved with
compassion for the people and then healed them.

We must be people who catches the vision of heaven and
mobilizes it
. God wants to pour out His heavens upon the earth and the thing
is…he chooses to use us as instruments of peace, hope and love.

Are you weak and completely wreaked because of what God is
doing in your life? Then I can say to you your perfect for the job!

Risk Taker Prayer

Lord help me to understand that you love me for who I am, but
you love me so much that you won’t leave me the way I am. Your constantly
changing me and molding me into your image. I am becoming day by day the
man/woman you want me to be.

Lord may I be your hands and feet to the dying world who is in
desperate need of your love. I am just one person, but in me is a God who
bigger and stronger then any trouble that I may face.

I want to see your Kingdom come to earth. I want to be a part
of your overall plan that “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the
glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”
Habakkuk 2:14.

Teach me what it means to abide in you. So I can further more
be an extension of your presence to every man, woman and child I meet.

I lay my life before you Father. I surrender my mind, heart,
body and spirit. I am your servant beloved God, have your way in me.

In Jesus name I pray

Amen
