Blog written by my sweet friend Casondra Radford

I sat in Sunday school as an impressionable young girl awed at the
miracles of Jesus and his disciples. It was easy for me to believe that
miracles happened in Jesus’ time. But growing up for some reason I
believed miracles no longer happen. I laughed when someone told me
people were being raised from the dead in Africa. I thought, “That only
happened in the bible.” When people would go to a doctor and test
results would read there was no longer cancer, I never labeled it a
miracle.

This year I have really grasped the chance to get to know the Bible
for myself. I am not only reading stories of the Bible but listening to
what God wants to tell me. I am actually seeing God manifest himself in
situations around me. I’m seeing Him use my squad mates and I to pray
healing over others- to be a part of the story.

It’s no longer the story of the man with leprosy but Catherine Pollock being healed of malaria in Ireland. (Mt 8:1-4)

Miracles still happen today. They happen through you.

It’s no longer the story of 2 demon possessed men but the woman in
Tanzania who Pastor George called a demon out of. (Lk 8:27-39)

Miracles still happen today. They happen through you.

It’s no longer the story of Jairus’ daughter being raised from the dead but Kristen Paulick seeing Liney raised from the dead in Cambodia. (Mk 5:21-43)

Miracles still happen today. They happen through you.

It’s no longer the story of the man with dropsy but an old man praying healing over Jedediah Smith broken foot and him dancing for Jesus in Ireland. (Lk 14:1-4)

Miracles still happen today. They happen through you.

It’s no longer the story of the boy with epilepsy but the young man in the hospital with a large tumor on his neck that Kerry Bates prayed over. As she prayed the tumor burst open and blood came shooting out. (Lk 9: 38-43)

Miracles still happen today. They happen through you.
