When I think of “Q SQUAD”, I think of HUNGRY.
No, no, not PHYSICALLY hungry (although that may be the case too…Hot Grill anyone?).
But, SPIRITUALLY HUNGRY.
It has been refreshing to come alongside a group of fifty 20-30 year olds who are (seriously) LONGING to be more like Christ.
I think back to the beginning of my race (a yearish ago) and realize, “WHOA I was just as hungry as they are…where did that HUNGER go?”
THANK YOU, for giving me a glimpse of what we, as Christ followers, should look like EVERY DAY.
We should always be “hungry”.
Just the reminder I needed to start off the year of 2017.
As I joined your squad these past months, you all have impacted me.
Not only through your blogs and stories, but through the way you LOVE.
To me, you exemplify LOVE in the following ways:
GRACE
VULNERABILITY
TRUTH
SERVING
LAUGHING
CRYING
HOLDING
HUGGING
ACCEPTING
HURTING
PATIENCE
PERSEVERANCE
GENTLENESS
PASSION
BOLDNESS
UNITY
BRAVENESS
WILLINGNESS
All of these things are TRUE about you, as a squad and as individuals.
It was my joy to come alongside you and (hopefully) encourage you, help you, and inspire you to TELL YOUR STORIES.
You all are unique, and you have experiences worth sharing.
Continue walking in HUNGER, and be reminded of your IDENTITY in Him.
The influence you have on this WORLD is powerful.
Finally, (of course) I must say…do NOT stop sharing your stories.
People WANT to listen. People WANT to be a part of this KINGDOM JOURNEY you are a part of.
Invite them into what the Lord is doing.
STAY HUNGRY, and KEEP FIGHTING.
