Wonderful things that have happened this week:
prayed over two villages
prayed for a water buffalo that gave birth within half an
hour
I feel renewed and reminded that I can rest in the Lords
love and not always be accomplishing something.
survived an angry drunk man on the way to the village.
successfully eaten like a oinker.
our contact showed us a hidden ice cream parlor and I ate
two incredible dreamy desserts.
love my family here more and more each day.
miss my family at home but feel complete peace about it.
enjoyed the night view of our city from the rooftop.
rode a ridiculously fast ferris wheel twice.
learned the lesson that my time needs to go out the window
and I need to operate in Indian time.
fell in love with a village and their sweet faces.
been fed by the pastor and his wife of two villages and
enjoyed every minute.
learn a multitude of things every day.
Prayer requests-that my team would be able to understand the spiritual atmosphere and seek the Lords will in that. Also, to seriously see everyone as God sees them. This week we’ll be working with special needs kids and I know I need more understanding and grace in that.
