Update for my sponsors:

First I just want to thank you all for your continued support.

There have been a few changes in the past couple months, and I would like to share those with you. I am still going on the World Race, but not until June 2010.

God has been pointing out to me an area in my life that I had been holding onto and not completely using for His glory – finances. He is teaching lately that if I just honor Him first and foremost in my work and with my (technically His) money, He will take care of the rest. He is my provider and i can trust Him in that area (Matthew 6:24-25). He has also shown how unwise it is to be in debt,

“Just as the rich rule the poor,
      
           so the borrower is servant to the lender. “

~Proverbs 22:7

“Owe nothing to anyone-except for your obligation to love one another.
                       If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.”

~Romans 13:8

…and I have some debt. Because of this, I feel like God is telling me to wait on the World Race, for one more year. So, in a desire to honor God, I will spend this next year paying off my debt, and following Him as He teaches me to be financially responsible. 

Please pray that God will give me wisdom as I seek His will in all areas of my life and that my spiritual ears will be open to hear His voice.
