Lately, I have been learning a lot about going deeper with Christ, going into the unknown and being incredibly satisfied with the knowledge that uncertainty is okay when you trust and know that Jesus is going to do great things through you. In Luke, it talks about Peter going deeper with Jesus on his fishing boat, and casting his net into the unknown and expecting that Jesus was going to provide and show him more of who He is. And He did.
When we go deeper with Christ, we experience an intimacy and closeness with Him that a lot of people in this generation don’t get to experience. It is so beautiful that when Jesus went to sit at the hand of God in heaven, that He left us with the gift of the Holy Spirit, who dwells in us and sweeps like fire over the hearts of those that yearn and thirst to go deeper with Him.
I’ve been witnessing a lot of incredible healings and miracles being performed with trust in the depth and mighty power of the Holy Spirit, and being able to see those around me so entrenched in the waters and love of Christ has made me have a thirst for Him that I have never felt before. I have been so encouraged by the community around me that has been so in love with Jesus that they are living in ways that seem foreign to most of the people in our world that is just so broken. I am so excited to show that love that is reckless and wild and crazy to those I meet on my mission trip this summer. I am so hopeful for the healing and miraculous power of the Holy Spirit, and know that He is moving in ways that He has wanted us to ask Him to move in for so long.
As I work to get the next 50% of my support completed, I am grasping on tight to the hand of the Holy Spirit , and going as deep with Jesus as I possibly can, so that I can feel the love and intimacy of Christ like I never have before. I would love for you to join me on that journey, and to encourage you to dive deep into the waters and experience the closeness of our God!
