To all of you out there who are born with the ability to understand numbers and math easily, you have been blessed. While to those of you that are like me, overwhelmed and distraught by the mere thought of math and equations or why there are letters and greek symbols, bear with me. Right now is when the reality of the numbers have become real. By my launch date, I would love to be fully funded with $15,800. Just the idea of that much money to me is paralyzing. I’m not sure if I have ever had anymore than $2000 at one time let alone the immense amount of over 15 thousand dollars. Granted, all of this money is split between travel, food, housing, etc. Now to get to this enormous amount, I will need at least $3,500 by July 2nd. After that deadline, I will need another $12,600 by December, 31 which is the final deadline. Thankfully, I have an extremely supportive family that has helped me to figure out how to efficiently get $15,800 by my deadline.
The countdown for my departure is in 71 days. In my World Race fund I currently have $2,800, meaning that to be fully funded I need $13,000. So my goal for my funding is to reach $15,800 by the time I leave. On average to meet my goal in the 71 days, I will need to make around $185 a day. And I have faith that with everyone’s generosity and the fundraisers I have coming up I can achieve that!
Speaking of fundraising I am still doing my adopt a box (special thanks to my sister Brianna for our new and improved board!) and if you would like an updated list of still available boxes contact me! I will also be making my own T-shirts with my own original design to sell so be sure to look out for that! While we are still working out the details, I am super excited to announce I will be partnering with a local restaurant. I will be doing and open mic night and an art auction to help fundraise money!
