So it’s been a while since I’ve last posted. And let me tell you a lot has happened. So recently my team and I were informed that we would be moving ministries after debrief due to scheduling conflicts. And while I’m super excited for the new opportunities this will provide I’m still coming to terms with leaving all the kids. If you ever have time look up Lifting Hands, because it’s a wonderful program. I’ve been so blessed to get to know the kids (who think that my lack of Spanish is both hilarious and exasperating) and the volunteers who are all incredibly kind and smart. Monday is our last day 🙁 but I hope that you all will pray for both Lifting Hands and our new ministry.
Fundraising! I’M AT $10,000!!!! I’m so eternally grateful for everyone who has donated in the past few months. I could not have done it alone and I am adamant that it was only by the grace of God and my mother I have made it this far. Love you mom. So where am I at now? Well today is the last day if you still want to buy a card box so if you want some super cute cards for a good cause you better move fast. Tshirts are here!!! And by gosh they are so cute. We do have extras in most sizes so if you didn’t order one and realize that you made a mistake it’s not too late! And if you did in fact order one be on the lookout! Adopt-a-box! I’m going to be posting an updated picture so you can see what is still available because I’m closing it at the end of the month. Why is that a big deal you might ask? Well every name on the board is going to be entered in a raffle for a free souvenir from a country of your choice (from the 4 I’m going to obviously). And who doesn’t want cool stuff from Thailand? And while I’m super happy about reaching $10,000 I still have another $5,800 to go. If you guys have anything you would suggest or want to see me do for donations I’m totally game to do crazy things! Pure Vida right?
And lastly now that I have reached $10,000 I can go on adventure days! This Sunday we will be going to a waterfall and I’m super excited to take all kinds of cool pictures and really go exploring! So look out for me having a rad time (tbh it’ll probably rain but who cares)
