Love is patient.
Love is kind.
It does not envy.
It does not boast.
I say that I love.
At times I think I’m super good at loving.
But,
I am not always patient.
I am not always kind.
I do envy at times.
I do boast at times.
God is love.
God IS always patient
God IS always kind
God NEVER envies.
God NEVER boasts.
The fact of the matter is, I fail at love daily.
God never fails at love.
The bible clearly states that love never fails.
If God is love,
Then God never fails.
In addition to God never failing,
God always gives grace.
So when I fail daily at love,
He looks past what I’ve done
and sees instead what His Son did.s
The ultimate act of love.
He took the punishment I deserved on that cross.
He did this for me.
He did this for you.
He did this because He loves me.
He did this because He loves you.
And His love never fails.
