She prepares all my meals.
He walks around at night to keep my home for the month safe.
She mops the floors of the church where people gather to worship.
He goes into work late every morning so he can drive me to ministry.
Do I notice them today?
…
Does anybody?
In 8 months of being on the Race, I've literally met hundreds and hundreds of people. Whether it's from speaking at a church in Africa, teaching an English class in Asia, or simply buying a store in Central America out of Coca Cola … I've met people from all walks of life.

Some I still talk to. Others…others I didn't even say hello.
This isn't something I'm writing for the ones who are friends. This is something for those who aren't.
The ones who I never truly saw in the moment. The ones who I overlooked and allowed to go unnoticed. The ones who I let just be another among the hundreds of faces going about this crazy place we all call home.
Months later…I see them for what they are.
Shooting stars.
We all are.
Just a few moments in the spotlight followed by the cinematic fade out to black.
Sure, some are more special than others…
The girl of your dreams who puts on the white dress.
The best friend who faces every obstacle imaginable with you.
The kid who showed you the true meaning of joy.
But what about the others?
The ones I have no recollection of…
Where do they possibly fit in on this adventure I'm currently on?
My mind tells me that maybe they don't.
My heart (the one that is being transformed each day to look like the Father's) tells me otherwise.
It tells me that each person has something. A story to share…a lesson to teach…love to give. Whatever it is…it makes them worthy. And it's never going to be my place to determine if they aren't.
You see, the world is filled with lonely people. Lonely people who are searching and starving for the affirmation of a loving touch….a genuine smile…a simple check in on how their day is going.
Jesus never once lowered his standards…but he always met people where they were.
Even the ones who are usually overlooked by me.
So this month my team and I are partnering up with Victory Outreach Ministries (VOM) in Lira, Uganda. We're able to help at the church and get a taste of all the different departments they have to offer. Whether it be media, finances, Compassion International, or some of the amazing farming/agricultural programs that the church has going on we are seeing God show up on a daily basis. Victory is furthering the Kingdom in a big way and I can't wait to see how the Lord continues to use my team this month as we help grow the city of Lira for Christ!
I can not begin to thank each and every person who has made this incredible journey happen. The love, encouragement and support I've received over the past 8 months has been nothing short of amazing. For that…I am going to be always grateful for the opportunity to share the same love you've shown me with people all over the world. In traveling the world, funding is still needed every now and then. In fact, I still need to raise about $1100 to be FULLY FUNDED. $1100 is nothing for God to take care of. If 11 people gave $100, I'd be able to continue 3 more months on the Race. If 22 people gave $50 I'd be able to do the same. No donation is too small and EVERY donation goes to reaching more people for the Kingdom. If you'd like to be a part of it, CLICK HERE to donate or you can simply go to the SUPPORT ME! tab on the left of the page.
Know that everything you do for me means the world to me and that I carry each of you every step I take.
I love you all!
