A book I'm reading says,

"We talk about “doing” the will of God, but the will of God has much more to do with “being” than “doing.” It’s not about being in the right place at the right time; it’s about being the right person, even if you find yourself in the wrong circumstances."

It's funny how often the wrong circumstances come along in everyday life, whether I'm in Cambodia or in Yuma, Arizona. And I'm going to be really honest with you, I believed that going to these countries my "evangelistic" jean would just show up! Lol. I can laugh at that now. I envisioned  that we would go to orphanages and villages and tell them about the love of Christ and I would see people coming to Christ left and right. Don't get me wrong, I have seen some incredible miracles, but it had nothing to do with me preaching to anyone, it had everything to do with learning to love people where they're at. My gift is not standing in front of hundreds giving sermons, it isn't sparking up conversation and immediately asking someone if they believe in Christ (although I tried, and have some funny stories from it).

My gift is love.

It's what I LOVE to do.

I love to sit and hear someone's story, I love to rub someones back when its been really hard, I love to fight for people, I love to hug, just about everyone! I love to pray for healing whether it be physical, spiritual or emotional, I love to share how my life changed with someone who needs hope, and I love to encourage people and see them smile.

I wanted for so long for God to gift me with something that could bring the multitudes to Him, but He gifted me with something that can bring the one. It doesn't matter what country I'm in, its about making the decision to walk in that and be that with every person He brings me to.

You have been equipped to be a solution for every problem people face because it is no longer you who lives but Christ who lives in you (Gal. 2:20) and you are now one spirit with Him (1 Cor. 6:17).

PRAISE HIM!

Just thought I would share a little of what I have been realizing, I love you all!

P.S. I made a movie of our home this month! I hope you all enjoy 🙂 This is our privileged life!
