WE ARE IN THAILAND!!!
Can’t believe we are actually here. God has been so so good and I am so excited to see all that He has for us here.
So I should probably back up a bit and tell you all that has happened til now. This past Friday was our first day of Launch= our last little bit of training/preparation and time with family before we left the states. I am going to be really honest, my time at Launch was hard. I know I was in the comfort of a nice hotel here in America, it doesn’t seem like it should’ve been hard at all, but it was hard emotionally. It finally started to sink in that I was going to be away from the comfort of home, family, and friends for the next nine months. I was so overwhelmed and just felt all the emotions. God is so good though. He has blessed me with such a great community here and back home and He never fails to remind me of His great love for me. I prayed that He would help me to be more accepting of the peace and joy that He has already placed in my life and He has totally answered that prayer. I am honestly now so excited to be here and to start this journey. Please continue to pray, though, that I will be able to continue to fix my mind on the Lord’s promises and live out the joy He has given me.
On to the travel… After Launch, we began traveling at 2:30am on Monday. We shuttled to the airport, took the Marta from there to the bus station, bussed from Atlanta to Nashville, hopped on an Uber from the bus stop to the airport, then flew to San Fran>Hong Kong>Singapore>Bangkok>Chiang Mai, and finally rode in the back of a truck to the Hostel that we will be staying at here in Chiang Mai. Thank you all so much for your prayers. So thankful that we made it here safely.
Lastly, always gotta bring up the fundraising. Haha! I have $4,623 left to raise, so if you are able please please please consider hitting that donate button on my blog page. It’s been so freaking cool to see all that the Lord has provided so far and I am just so thankful for all of my supporters.
