Hello World,
For those of you whom do not know us personally, it’s very nice to meet you and welcome to our story. Here’s how it goes…
Ashli and I have been married since 2011 and we have known each other for a total of over 17 years, more than half of our lives. I knew I loved my wife the moment I met her. We grew up together in a small town called Waller, Texas where we went to school together and lived only miles away from each other. Ashli comes from a small family with two dynamic parents and no siblings however I on the contrary was raised with three sisters and an awesome mom. Our love story didn’t begin right away as my wife and I were best friends for many years before we became the great team that we are today. As a young, newly married couple we made a commitment to one other that our service to each other as husband and wife would be, to always put God first in our lives, to diligently do the work required and to always act on love in everything that we do. Together, over the years we have used those building blocks to start our own businesses, service our community, overcome some of the hardest times in our lives and to find the path that led us right to the world race.
With a passion for helping people and animals, my wife and I pride ourselves on the service that we give to others. Even in our busiest seasons, we always make sure that we create time to put as much back into this beautiful life as we get out of it. Sometimes it may be by mentoring and educating our youth, by donating our time for companionship with the elderly and sometimes it may just be by spending time with animals who are in need of a little extra love. We are avid believers in the power of prayer and we know that with God in your life, there is no challenge unconquerable. After years of serving our local community we decided that our dedication to the gospel could be even better utilized in places that were much more deprived spiritually. Places where the power of the lord needed to penetrate. We have always felt compelled to share the greatness of God with the world as we believe that the reason we have been so blessed, is so that we may be a blessing to others. When my wife and I discovered the world race, we knew immediately that this was a spiritual journey meant for the two of us. With so much uncertainty in the world, the one resource that Ashli and I know is always plentiful is God’s love and loyalty. And by doing the work of the lord with our barehands and open-hearts as we build/rebuild places of worship, teaching in orphanages, praying with the locals and providing relief efforts to countries in higher need of the presence of Jesus Christ, we feel overjoyed and rejuvenated in spirit.
