It’s currently 10:52 am over here in Cambodia. I want you guys to know what I have been doing all week so here is a run down about my schedule and what I’ve been up to!

Every morning we tutktuk to the market to buy breakfast. We have 3 breakfast teams of 4 and each morning a different team goes. When it’s my turn, my breakfast team and I have to be ready by 7am because that’s when the tuktuk comes. We drive about 10 minutes into town and have a budget of how much we are able to spend each morning. We feed our whole team breakfast for only $10!! When I am not on breakfast team, I get to sleep in a little bit or just have some more time to myself in the morning. Breakfast is at about 8am. We then go into the village and do house visits from about 8:30am-11am. We get to visit with the locals and talk about life and share about Jesus. Each and every house visit looks so different, so it’s really exciting because you never know what you’ll get! We have lunch at 12pm and then get free time from about 12:30-2. Sometimes I nap, or read, or yesterday some of my squad and I played Yahtzee! If you know me, you know that means I am thriving. After our chill time, we begin our manual labor project from 2-4. Currently we are digging a fish pond. When we’re done it’ll be so cool, because the locals can fish and eat the fish that are in the pond! We also have been picking up some trash that’s around the community. After this a tuktuk picks us up at 4:30 and we head into town to teach english to the kids. We teach until about 6. Learning english is really valuable to these kids, so it’s really cool to watch them learn and love it so much! We head back to our compound and eat dinner around 6:30. The food here has honestly been pretty incredible. It’s for sure new, but so cool to experience a different culture’s food! After dinner, we have “team time”. This can consist of worship, Bible study, and/or feedback. Feedback is our time as a squad to give constructive feedback and encouragement. Basically our time to talk about what’s going good, what’s not doing great and what we can do to fix it or how we can continue to thrive. It’s a really cool time to learn about myself and others and recognize areas where I can grow and also be affirmed by some of my squad mates (which is pretty cool). After that, we just kind of hand out and usually head to bed pretty early (around 9-9:30). The days here are so long, but full of so so much. Jesus has been using every minute to teach me something or experience something new. I have already grown so much with the Holy Spirit and am excited to continue to grow. Overall, time is going to fly by here, so I am trying to soak it ALL in. I am truly living a dream and waking up every morning thankful that I get to live in this humid, beautiful and Spirit full country. Words do not do my feelings justice! So so thankful for all you.
