Wow. Who woulda thought. Fully frickin funded. The Father’s greatness has been revealed in so many ways throughout this fundraising process; just like I knew it would. 4 months ago when I started my journey of funding, $6400 seemed so far. BUT, here we are. Every. Single. Penny. I want it to be known that every single dollar I received was strictly through donations. That is insane. I made a post to my Instagram and Facebook about 6 days prior to being fully funded. In these posts, I had opened up about walking through some thoughts of doubts and questioning. $2500 is how much money came in during that 6 day period. Many being from humans I never would have expected to donate to me. The Father took my doubt and quickly turned it back into confidence. The confidence I have had since the beginning of this journey. Fundraising is not easy, but man is it fun. The amount of opportunities given to have conversations with people you can only dream of. To see God so tangibly work and shower His children with undeserving kindness. God does not need me, but yet He decided to use me and my squad to embark on this incredible experience to reach His people. Making the most of every opportunity. Ephesians 5:16.

I have no words to express how thankful I am for every human that has donated to me and has been walking alongside me in prayer. I ask that you would continue to pray for not only me, but my squad of 12 girls as well (hopefully you guys will be learning more about them very soon)! I am writing this sitting in the Atlanta airport waiting to meet my squad and head to training for a few days. I will then start my traveling journey to Cambodia on January 27th. It is about a 25 hour travel day with connecting flights in Chicago and Seoul and then from there will fly into Cambodia. The excitement cannot be explained! On my flight here, I had the honor of sitting next to a really kind man named Walter. We talked about life and Jesus the whole way here. We had many conversations that can only be seen as a gift that I was given from the Father. That is just who the He is. He’s a God that loves abundantly and unexpectedly. Giving tiny gifts where we didn’t see necessary, but are super thankful to be apart of. Anyway, I have safely landed in Atlanta and am just waiting quite expectantly! I will hopefully be able to post a blog about how training goes, but I know that time on my phone and laptop, as it should be, will be quite limited over the next few days! I love all of you guys and am incredibly thankful that I have a support system like you all!! You guys make life sweeter. :,)
