when pondering the word fearless, i automatically think of the catchy taylor swift song that does not in any way describe what being fearless really is. what i want that word to mean for me is being bold and brave. so that is what my goal is for at least the next 4 months of this race… to be fearless.

This is a picture of my team before we went to the Romania opera to see “Sampson and Delilah”. I’ll just say that I’m guessing the opera accurately portrayed how provocative the actual story is. No sugar coating in Romania.
I have absolutely loved getting to know my team this month. I could not have asked for a more amazing group of people to go to spend 3 months in Africa with!
