I’m quite proud of myself. Recently I went to the central market. I literally only had a dollar with me. Ladies kept asking me to buy things and I kept saying “will you take a dollar for it?” Of course they said no, but I saw this bracelet that I really liked. It was kind of cheap-looking, so I asked how much. The lady said $4.00 and I said again “I only have a dollar.” She kept going down 3.50, 3.00, 2.00, and I started to walk away and she said “okay, okay” and then Jodi said she wanted one for her sister too and I said “how about I give you $1.50 for both?” At first she said no but I started to walk away again and she said yes. I got my bracelet for 75 cents!!! I think that’s the best bargaining I’ve ever done.
