Some of my favorites this week
Food: Rolleggs
We have heard many people on our squad and from previous squads talking about these things called rolleggs. After leaving the internet cafe one evening my teammate Jill and I saw a street vendor and decided to see what all the hype was about. Sure enough it was as delicious as everyone made it out to be or it could be that living over seas for so long has lowered our standard of delicious.
So, you are probably wondering what is a rollegg? It's pretty much just two fried eggs with slices of tomato, green peppers, and onions rolled up in a thick tortilla. If you're ever in Uganda you have to try it and for all you peeps at home go make yourself one for breakfast and let me know what you think!
Memory: Getting Malaria
Ok so this by all means isn't my favorite memory this week but I had to throw it in here because it's kickin' my butt. After 3 months in Africa and only a week left before we move on to Thailand me and two of my teammates got malaria. We have spent everyday in bed since Sunday. Don't freak out we are taking medicine but we are completely zapped of energy. So, please keep us in your prayers.
Song: Garden by Misty Edwards
I listen to this song every morning during my quiet time with the Lord. It's special and makes me happy. Living in community every single day for a year you need a song like this to really make you feel like its just you and God in the room. That's what this song does for me.
Picture: from Uganda

I love the joy in all the kids faces when they see pictures of themselves. Everytime they get embarrased and laugh at one another. I didn't know this picture was being taken so I fell in love with it when my teammate Julie showed it to me.
I hope you are all having a lovely week. Praying for lots of special moments with you and Jesus this weekend. If you missed my favorites from last week you can check them out here.
